Europeans can't get enough of the Galaxy S23 Ultra - SamMobile - Samsung news

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is becoming of the most beloved Samsung flagships in recent years. It’s not just us who appreciate this device but also numerous consumer associations across Europe, as per a Samsung report.

Samsung says that the Galaxy S23 Ultra has been ranked the number 1 smartphone by consumer associations in seven European markets, including Belgium, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and the UK. Here are the (highest) scores the Galaxy S23 Ultra earned, from whom, and where.

  • Test Achats (Belgium): 81/100
  • Taenk (Denmark): 81/100
  • Altroconsumo (Italy): 81/100
  • Consumentenbond (the Netherlands): 8.3 / 10
  • Deco Proteste (Portugal): 81/100
  • OCU (Spain): 81/100
  • Which? (the UK): 84/100

These scores have propelled the Galaxy S23 Ultra to the top of these consumer associations’ smartphone rankings, making it the best handset they used to date, Samsung or not — Android or otherwise.

It may not be perfect but we love the Galaxy S23 Ultra

We also happen to hold the Galaxy S23 Ultra in high regard for many reasons we’ve explained in our review. The phone has the most premium feel out there, the display is superb, and the 200MP camera takes great photos and videos. Performance is fantastic, and battery life is phenomenal.

This is also the first Galaxy S flagship to use a Snapdragon chipset exclusively in every market, so European users no longer have to worry about the Exynos variant and possibly getting a poorer user experience than customers in Qualcomm markets. But, of course, nothing is perfect, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra isn’t either, as great as it is. There are a few niggles here and there.

Check out our Galaxy S23 Ultra review and video below for more about our thoughts on the device. And if the Galaxy S23 Ultra seems like the perfect phone for you to own, you can buy one for $1,199 and up, or potentially for a whole lot lower if you can trade in an older phone.
